Nuclear Projects Administrator

We are looking for Nuclear Projects Administrator to join our team in Brantford

Reporting to the Nuclear Products Manager, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex administrative tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of Company policy and procedure, the Nuclear Quality program, and various IT systems. The position requires the ability to prioritize workloads, work independently and as part of a team exercising judgment and initiative.

Salary: $70, $90,000 per year plus bonus opportunity

Your Challenge:

  • Assist with nuclear valve order tasks, including quotation preparation, sales order document creation, history docket preparations, records scanning.
  • Coordinate and administer the information flow, primarily through emails, for the nuclear group that affect orders, customers and documentation.
  • Order entry review
  • Prepare documentation packages for valve orders including part travelers, drawings, QC Data Sheets, production orders, part tags, and transmittals.
  • Prepare Export Control Documentation for international shipments.
  • Review documentation for errors and omissions i.e. – missing signatures, incomplete data, rev control
  • Coordinate the document control process for each order for internal, customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain electronic library of reference material, customer approvals and project documentation.
  • Continually maintaining the QA program manuals, procedures and work instruction to ensure they are current and readily accessible.
  • Schedule & coordinate nuclear quality program activities so they are completed by qualified individuals as required.
  • Maintain document control in accordance with QA procedures.
  • Complete in-house training and apply knowledge of Codes and procedures.
  • Order administration i.e. – expediting of documents, transmittals, tracks data from customers
  • Office administration including monitoring telephone switchboard.
  • Document assembly of customer history dockets.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Working knowledge of nuclear quality systems requirements including N285.0, N299.2, ASME Section III and 10CFR50 Appendix B as written in the QA Procedures, Work Instructions and other documents.
  • Advanced working knowledge of features & capabilities of Access database applications like UltraNuke, CAR/NCR, AVL, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer functions
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Excel, Project, and Foxit Phantom PDF.
  • Technical aptitude or experience with pressure relief valves.
  • Strong communication skills, dealing tactfully with peers, visitors and customers
  • Problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong project management skills - ability to prioritize tasks, work to timelines
  • Strong attention to detail
