Patriot Forge Corporation supplies carbon, alloy and stainless steel forgings with heat treatment, machining and testing.
Through continual upgrades, Patriot Forge has been able to enhance our manufacturing capabilities to better serve the needs of our ever evolving customer base.
We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Millwright to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Repair, rebuild and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Weld, repair and perform maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems, gear boxes, machine tools, gas furnaces and overhead cranes
- Capable of rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and accumulators along with basic welding skills
- Maintain standard housekeeping (5S) in the Maintenance area
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointment by management
- Work various shifts as required (continentals)
Experience/Skills/Education:
- Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification will be given preference
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification minimum
- Technical Standards and Safety Authority Industrial Maintenance Technician designation considered an asset
- Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills a must
- Must have own maintenance tools
- Good command of the English language both written and verbal
- Excellent reading and interpreting machine assembly drawings and hydraulic schematics
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
