Job Summary:

we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our private clinic in Whitby. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic mammography services and exceptional patient care within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning to obtain optimal image quality.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment as needed.
  • Educate patients on procedures, addressing questions and concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Demonstrated experience in performing mammography procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating mammography equipment.
  • Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.
