Job Description
Position Type: Part-time to start.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting, grinding and packaging meat, fish and other shop products. Experience butchering full animals is a plus (cow, lamb).
- Providing meat cut recommendations based on customer needs.
- Some grilling or frying burgers, fries, and other ingredients.
- Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.
- Previous chef experience is a bonus.
- Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service.
- Take accurate orders, handle payments, and provide receipts.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized counter area.
- Assist with dishwashing if needed.
- Restock products and manage inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Butchering or culinary diploma preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Prior experience in butchering, kitchen, or restaurant/culinary roles.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
