OUR CLIENT
Our client is a reputable, well-established, Canadian-owned construction contractor and building materials supplier. This role will have you reporting to the Controller and working within a supportive environment with many tenured employees.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Valid 310T certification
  • Proven experience as a truck and coach mechanic
  • In-depth knowledge of truck and coach mechanical systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
  • Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions
  • High level of comfort in using a computer daily;
  • Good organization and time management skills;
  • Results focused.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and coaches
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify potential problems
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest truck and coach technologies and repair techniques
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards
