<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>TEMPORARY ONGOING ASSIGNMENT WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GO PERMANENT</strong><br /><strong>Job Title: Accounting Supervisor</strong><br /><strong>Industry Sector: Not for Profit</strong><br /><strong>Salary: $38/hr + </strong><br /><strong>Location: Scarborough in office</strong><br /><strong>Job #: 16815943</strong><br><br><strong>About our client:</strong><br />Our client is a local charitable Not for Profit charitable organization, in the senior living space that provides a number of services throughout the GTA.<br><br><strong>About the role:</strong><br />This role will be supporting the Director of Finance with the following, but not limited to:<ul><li><p>Support annual audit preparation and provide required documentation.</p></li><li><p>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, government reports, and closing entries.</p></li><li><p>Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.</p></li><li><p>Oversee accounts receivable and payable, resolving related issues with other departments.</p></li><li><p>Maintain confidential files and provide backup support to staff as needed.</p></li></ul><strong>About you:</strong><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting</li></ul><ul><li>Accounting Designation, (CMA, CPA) or close to designation</li></ul><ul><li>Must be proficient with MS Excel</li></ul><strong>Why Apply</strong><br />This is an excellent opportunity to work for a great organization<br><br>TSSHP<br />LI-TS1</p></p>
