This role has full responsibility for the global tax function, tax strategy and mitigation of tax liabilities at a multi-national public manufacturing business. The role is the most senior Tax position at the company and manages a third-party provider. The Tax Director plays a critical role in the world-class Finance team as they work together to achieve business results at a 4B organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establishes corporate tax strategies and directs implementation across business.
  • Directs the development and implementation of tax policies to guide ASC740 compliance and consistent application of tax laws regardless of the jurisdiction.
  • Collaborates with Treasury and Legal to examines the current and future funding requirements of the company’s various legal entities to ensure the appropriate capital structure for those entities considering all relevant tax, treasury, and legal implications.
  • Leads global tax organization in complying with tax laws, including tax filing, report, and payment requirements.
  • Drives alignment of tax accounting with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and corporate policies.

Requirements:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related subject
  • Eight plus years of relevant experience from public accounting and/or public multinational companies
