Sales Manager - Burlington

Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to join their world class team. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the execution, performance, and day-to-day management of the Business Development team. This role drives sales discipline through KPI ownership, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and coaching while ensuring alignment with overall commercial strategy. The Sales Manager represents Sales in internal cross-functional meetings, supports strategic initiatives, and enables the Director of Sales to focus on client relationships, market strategy, and long-term growth.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be:
Lead, coach, and develop Business Development Managers to achieve individual and team performance objectives.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
Own sales KPIs include activity levels, pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
Monitor performance trends and proactively address gaps.
Lead weekly pipeline and forecast reviews with Business Development Managers.
Own and continuously improve the sales process from lead generation through handoff to Sales Delivery.
Attend internal operational and cross-functional meetings on behalf of Sales when required.
Ensure CRM usage, data accuracy, and compliance with sales processes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management.
Strong analytical, coaching, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

This role operates primarily in an office environment with potential for occasional travel and remote work. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility required to support internal meetings, client needs, and sales activities. The role requires strong leadership presence, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
