RESPONSIBILITIES
Point of entry for new projects: budgeting and feasibility assessment;
Leading certain weekly post-production team meetings (Monday roundup, managing technical needs for the week, resource management);
Overall responsibility for each stage of production (briefing, managing creative development with artisans, involving relevant stakeholders, follow-up, consolidating feedback, quality control, etc.);
Implementing appropriate technical workflows according to project needs, in collaboration with an assistant or technical lead;
Gathering briefs and required materials from creative and production teams;
Preparing quotes and schedules; managing all phases of the post-production timeline;
Managing relationships and interactions between internal team members (motion designers, editors), agency producers, creatives, clients, and external partners;
Regular follow-ups with various stakeholders involved in the project;
Efficient communication with the agency producer (or external partners) to inform about project progress and issues;
Actively listening to the needs of creative teams; ability to ensure coherent follow-up with artisans;
Finalizing projects on budget and on schedule; ensuring satisfaction of artisans, creatives, and clients;
Verifying that all required elements (audio, video, visuals, mockups, storyboards, schedules, script reports, etc.) are ready for artists;
Overseeing administrative management and profitability of projects (resource forecasting, billing, archiving, budget reconciliation, financial reports required by the agency);
Managing post-production projects independently or under the supervision of an agency producer, depending on the assignment;
Managing certain large-scale 3D projects with suppliers or internally;
Staying up to date on new suppliers, techniques, and industry trends;
Developing skills in managing projects that use AI tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience in post-production;
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline;
Excellent technical knowledge of post-production;
Good understanding of 3D production processes;
Interest in new technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence);
Good knowledge of the agency production environment;
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
Autonomy and initiative;
Leadership and sense of responsibility;
Teamwork skills;
Strong stress management;
Resourcefulness;
Fluency in spoken and written French is required; Fluency in English, both spoken and written, to work with national and international clients and colleagues (50% of the time) is also required.
