Knowledge Management Lawyer


Location: Ontario


Our client


Is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to justice for all Ontarians.


Responsibilities


  • Researching, writing, updating, and editing fully-cited FAQs across multiple civil law topics.
  • Monitoring legal developments and ensuring knowledge content stays current.
  • Editing materials drafted by volunteers for quality and consistency.
  • Performing technical work related to maintaining the FAQ database.
  • Developing short training videos on legal and practical topics for volunteers.


Qualifications


  • Licensed lawyer.
  • At least five years of practice in one or more of the following civil areas: small claims, housing, employment, consumer, or estates.
  • Excellent writing skills, able to produce clear, accessible content for both lawyers and non-lawyers.
  • Strong legal research abilities, with capacity to synthesize developments across multiple areas of law.
  • Comfortable with technology, new tools, and light technical work (updating hyperlinks, navigating Salesforce, minor coding with guidance).
  • Interest or experience in AI-powered tools, legal tech, or knowledge systems considered a significant asset.


Compensation & Benefits


  • Contract-based position with potential to convert to permanent.
