<p><strong>Title: IT Project Manager - MSSP Transition</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Edmonton, AB Hybrid (3 days/week onsite, 2 days/week remote after initial phase)</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Team & Impact</strong></p><p>Join a cybersecurity-focused IT team leading a critical transition to a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). Your work ensures secure, compliant, and efficient migration of security operations, reducing risk and improving service performance for the organization.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Tools/Tech</strong></p><ul><li>MSSP platforms</li><li>SIEM, SOAR tools</li><li>NIST, CIS frameworks</li><li>Project Management tools (Agile/Waterfall)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end MSSP transition planning and delivery, including design sessions, testing, and adoption.</li><li>Coordinate SOC services migration (threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management).</li><li>Manage vendor onboarding, ensuring contractual and technical compliance.</li><li>Oversee transition governance, risk escalation, and issue resolution.</li><li>Align activities with cybersecurity frameworks and operational readiness criteria.</li><li>Validate service levels and contractual deliverables post-onboarding.</li><li>Support knowledge transfer and training for SOC analysts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards throughout the transition.</li></ul><p></p>
