Estimator – ICI Construction
Hamilton, ON | $100K–$120K + benefits | Full-time, Permanent
A reputable ICI contractor is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on new build projects ranging from $5M to $100M. This is a full-time role with a growing firm that values precision, professionalism, and long-term team members.
What you'll be doing:
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and full estimates for ICI tenders
Review drawings, specs, and tender requirements
Coordinate and compare pricing from subtrades and suppliers
Identify scope gaps and potential risks in bid packages
Support bid closings and contribute to project handoff meetings
What you bring:
5+ years of estimating experience in ICI construction
Strong knowledge of takeoff and pricing practices
Familiarity with CCDC contracts and public-sector tendering
Proficient with Excel and estimating software (Planswift, Procore Estimating, etc.)
Diploma or degree in a construction-related field preferred
