Architectural Technologist or Designer
Mid Sized Architecture Firm
$80-$100k + mostly remote WFH + excellent benefits

About the client and role
A dynamic Revit architectural firm with multiple offices seeks an experienced Revit based Architectural Technologist or Designer, ideally with community based projects: schools, community centers, rehab centers & retirement homes. You can work from home 3-4 times a week but must be a local candidate within 90 minutes of Timmins Ontario, with solid experience.
What they are looking for
- Minimum 4 years post graduate work experience; Architectural Technologist, Bachelor of Architecture credentials - open to a good OAA Intern
- Live within 2 hours of Timmins; Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Kirkland Lake and Kapuskasing
- Driver's license; ability to travel longer distances to sites & occasionally stay overnight (costs covered by the employer)
- Ideally someone experienced with medium to large projects ($20-$120 million) from construction to close-out; a PDF sheet of projects from the past 5 years, with solid references
- Decent OBC and building science fundamentals; ability to provide design feedback and anticipate design issues to suggest substitutions that meet design specifications
- Someone entrepreneurial seeking upward mobility; flexible mindset to work well with others
- Solid Revit; Bluebeam, PM software such as Wrike; experience in cloud based CCA software such as Rform
