Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to perform excavation, trenching, utility daylights, and other hydrovac tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site safety, and the ability to work as a team. The Hydrovac Operator plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks to excavate around utilities, pipelines, and other underground infrastructure with precision.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintenance on hydrovac units and associated machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with site setup, including positioning equipment and establishing safe work zones.
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction sites, heavy equipment operation, and environmental protection.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating hydrovac units.
- Valid class 3 driver's license
- Clean 3 year abstract
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in construction or excavation projects is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing advanced heavy equipment in a dynamic construction environment while emphasizing safety and efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
