Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking a qualified <b>Hardware Test Engineer </b>to join our team.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Location:</b> Mississauga, Ontario</p><p><b>Job Type:</b> Full-time</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.</li><li>Perform hardware system level testing and verify equipment level testing for safety critical hardware. </li><li>Test case development and execution - this includes: </li><li>The development of test cases and procedures based on systems requirements. </li><li>Peer reviewing tests for correctness and completeness.</li><li>Debugging test cases and potential issues when tests fail.</li><li>Ensuring test cases and the associated test processes meet all required objectives.</li><li>Assist in the development and updates to test documents, Software Verification Plan, Software Test cases and Procedures document, etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications </b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>5+ years of experience in electronic system level testing.</li><li>Experience with development of hardware test cases, test procedures and execution of test procedures is required.</li><li>Experienced with developing and executing test cases in Python </li><li>Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of system level testing, verification and validation</li><li>Ability to work across hardware and software</li></ul><p></p>
