<p><b>Embroidery Digitizer & Technical Pattern Specialist (PXF/DST)</b></p><p> <b>Freelance or Part-Time • Remote</b></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>Embroidery Digitizer</b> who can create high-quality stitch files for plush toys, apparel, and accessories. The ideal candidate is fluent in <b>Tajima PulseDG</b>, <b>Wilcom</b>, or similar platforms and can output <b>PXF, DST, and other machine-ready formats</b>.</p><p>This role supports our plush and toy development by turning artwork into precise stitch paths that our factories can run correctly on embroidery machines.</p><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Convert character artwork into clean stitch files (<b>PXF, DST, EMB</b>) ready for factory use.</li><li>Create accurate embroidery patterns for plush toys, apparel patches, labels, and facial features.</li><li>Map stitch sequences, densities, underlays, trims, and color paths.</li><li>Prepare files specifically optimized for <b>plush manufacturing</b> (variable pile height, curves, stretch fabric).</li><li>Collaborate with our design and factory teams to address technical adjustments.</li><li>Ensure files are compliant with Tajima/Pulse machine standards.</li></ul><b>Requirements</b><ul><li>3+ years as an embroidery digitizer.</li><li>Proficiency with <b>PulseDG / Wilcom / Tajima software</b>.</li><li>Ability to output <b>PXF files</b> (required).</li><li>Strong experience digitizing artwork for <b>plush, toys, patches, or apparel</b>.</li><li>Deep understanding of stitch density, pull compensation, and fabric behavior.</li><li>Fast turnaround and strong communication skills.</li></ul><b>Bonus</b><ul><li>Experience working with toy factories or plush production.</li><li>Understanding of manufacturing constraints (embroidery hoops, thread tensions, surface curvature).</li><li>Familiarity with character-based IP.</li></ul><b>How to Apply</b><p>Please include:</p><ul><li>Samples of digitized embroidery files (DST or PXF screenshots are fine).</li><li>Notes on software you use.</li><li>Typical turnaround times for small and complex files.</li></ul> <b>How to Find Them on LinkedIn</b><p>Search for keywords like:</p><ul><li>"Embroidery Digitizer Tajima"</li><li>"PulseDG digitizer"</li><li>"PXF digitizer"</li><li>"Wilcom digitizer"</li><li>"Embroidery technician plush"</li><li>"Embroidery stitch mapping"</li><li>"Embroidery pattern maker"</li></ul><p>You'll usually find people from:</p><ul><li><b>Embroidery studios</b></li><li><b>Apparel decoration companies</b></li><li><b>Digitizing freelancers</b></li><li><b>Factory technicians</b> who freelance on the side</li></ul><p><br></p>
