Job Description

<p>Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Driver Helper – Owen Sound (ON CALL) to join their team. As a Driver Helper – Owen Sound (ON CALL), you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, a sense of urgency, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.</p>

<p><strong>Location: </strong>Owen Sound, ON, 1870 20th St East</p>

<p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$17.60 per hour</p>

<p><strong>Shift: </strong>On Call Shifts Monday to Friday</p>

<p><strong>What's the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Building positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands, and sorters).
<li>Ride with a courier to assist with deliveries.
<li>Scanning packages with provided equipment.
<li>At times, split from the driver to make deliveries to different stores or multi-dwelling units.
<li>Utilize a dolly for delivery, either stand-up or push cart style, and work in various weather conditions.
</ul>

<p><strong>What's Needed?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
<li>Steel Toed Safety boots/shoes which are CSA Approved.
<li>Strong customer focus and communication skills.
<li>Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.
<li>Reliable and punctual behavior.
</ul>
