<p><b>Systems Mechanic – Aerospace Manufacturing | Mississauga, ON (FULL TIME/PERMANENT)</b></p><p><br></p><p>Our client aerospace manufacturer located in <b>Mississauga, Ontario</b>, is looking for a <b>Systems Mechanic</b> to join its dynamic production team.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p>Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the <b>Systems Mechanic</b> is responsible for the <b>installation, testing and inspection</b> of aircraft systems such as fuel, hydraulics, oxygen, waste, anti-ice and flight controls. This includes the assembly of related components, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work is performed according to technical documentation and industry regulations.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Install components and systems for <b>fuel, hydraulic, oxygen, waste, anti-ice and flight controls</b> (including rigging of flaps, ailerons, and spoilers).</li><li>Conduct <b>pressure and obstruction tests</b> on installed systems.</li><li>Install <b>CTR fuselage components</b>, including wire harnesses and windows.</li><li>Perform <b>pressure testing, cleaning, inspection and final close-out</b> of wing box and central tank assemblies.</li><li>Read and interpret <b>blueprints, specifications, standards and technical instructions</b>.</li><li>Ensure work accuracy, safety, and compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Skills & Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Strong <b>technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance</b>.</li><li>Ability to <b>read and interpret engineering drawings</b>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <b>test equipment</b> such as hydraulic rigs and pressure testers.</li><li>Knowledge and practical experience in <b>hydraulic and fuel pipe swaging</b>.</li><li>Experience in <b>wire harness installation</b> is not required (performed by Avionics team).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Experience & Education</b></p><ul><li>Minimum <b>2 years of experience</b> as an Aircraft Mechanic or similar role in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance.</li><li>Completion of a <b>Systems Maintenance or Aircraft Maintenance program</b> (or equivalent).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p><p>Candidates must be able to : </p><ul><li>Work in <b>restricted spaces</b> (tanks) and at <b>heights above 3 meters</b>.</li><li>Work <b>rotating shifts</b> as required.</li><li><b>Stand for extended periods</b>, climb stairs, and perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join This Team</b></p><ul><li>Work for a <b>leading Tier 1 aerospace manufacturer</b>.</li><li>Competitive <b>compensation and benefits</b> package.</li><li><b>Extensive training programs</b> and career growth opportunities.</li><li>A <b>collaborative, safety-driven, and inclusive</b> work environment.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
