Actalent is seeking a Test Development Engineer for a long term position in Newmarket, Ontario.

Our client, an electronics manufacturer, is looking to hire a Test Development Engineer, which involves leading the development of functional and system-level test strategies and solutions for diverse segments such as Aerospace & Defense, Health Tech, Smart Energy, and Industrial. You will be responsible for delivering these solutions to global production locations and supporting local site engineering during launches.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of test strategies and solutions for various industry segments.
• Deliver test solutions to global production locations and support engineering teams during launch.
• Drive development activities forward while contributing to team and project objectives.
• Design test processes and support the transition of these solutions into production operations.

Required Skills:

• Experience in both hardware and software testing.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and test engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing operations support, specifically in test development projects.

Assets:

• Experience with Altium and Solidworks for fixture design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Python and C++ programming.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
