The Role

An established construction company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations. This is a part-time, work-from-home role ideal for someone who thrives in a small, team-oriented environment and can balance multiple administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Manage company emails and general correspondence
  • Prepare and send invoices, quotes, and estimates
  • Coordinate payroll submissions with the accountant
  • Organize and maintain digital files and project documentation
  • Handle cheque pickups, deliveries, and document drop-offs as needed
  • Collect, sign, and scan statutory declarations and other forms
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure smooth operations


Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Proficient with standard office software and tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document management)
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to fit a friendly, down-to-earth culture
  • Comfortable with occasional local travel for pickups or deliveries
  • Ideally based in the Langley area
