Supervised Visitation Monitor
Location: Hamilton, ON, St. Catharines, Thorold, Welland, Niagara Falls,
Hours: 0–14 per week must be available to work evenings & weekends
B.A. Supervised Parent Time Services (Babysitting Angels Inc.) provides safe, neutral, and child-focused supervised parenting time, exchanges, and virtual visits. We are hiring Supervised Visitation Monitors to support families and ensure visits run safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise in-person and virtual visits/exchanges
- Maintain a safe, neutral, child-friendly environment
- Document factual observation notes
- Manage safety concerns and follow agency protocols
- Conduct parent/child orientations
- Complete critical incident reports when needed
- Assist with check-ins, fees, and receipts
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Completed or enrolled in 2-year college program in Social Services, Child & Youth, Sociology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years' experience in social services, child/youth work, corrections, or similar
- Knowledge of family law, supervised access, and DV/trauma (assets)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Strong communication & de-escalation skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Bilingual an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
