What You’ll Be Doing

The Process Engineering team’s objective is to build new business processes, optimize processes through re-engineering and automation, nurture continuous improvement and deliver significant and quantifiable results aligned to all Lines of Business at CIBC. As a Senior Analyst, you’ll identify and implement process improvements that enhance client experience and generate profitability. You’ll use your experience and direct client feedback to improve the quality of key processes that affect our clients. You’ll work closely with your team and help plan, develop, and implement a process strategy that will build the bank of the future.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Leadership – Use process engineering methodologies and project management to support projects and initiatives. You will work with others in Process Engineering and across CIBC to reach common goals and promote good working relationships among team members.
  • Problem solving – You solve problems in a structured way, organize work and analyze data and situations fully and accurately to guide or reach effective decisions.
  • Task management – You know and understand Project Management tools, methodologies and principles and can plan, prioritize and organize your work.
  • Interpersonal relations – You have effective communication skills and can present clearly and concisely using examples or illustrations to explain things. You can convince others and build support for process improvement recommendations.

  • You can demonstrate knowledge in: Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Concepts in a process engineering or business-related function such as operations, strategy development, organizational design, or information technology.
