As we expand into the North American market, we are looking for an experienced Sports Trader with deep expertise in US sports to join our Toronto office.

Role Overview

As a Sports Trader, you will be responsible for compiling odds, managing risk, and trading live events with a strong focus on US sports markets. You’ll work closely with our trading team and leverage automated trading systems to ensure competitive pricing, accurate risk segmentation, and effective market management.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile pre-game and in-play odds across major US sports: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA Football & Basketball.
• Manage live betting events, adjusting lines and markets in real time based on gameplay, injuries, and momentum shifts.
• Monitor market movements, identify patterns, and apply risk management strategies to maintain profitability.
• Utilize automated trading systems and live odds feeds, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
• Analyze betting behaviors, market biases, and volume trends to refine pricing and limit exposure.
• Collaborate with trading team members across different geographies, ensuring coverage and efficiency.
• Provide input on sportsbook product development tailored to the North American betting audience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sportsbook Trader or Odds Compiler, specializing in US sports markets.
• Strong knowledge of American betting culture: spread betting, moneyline, totals, parlays, props, teasers, futures.
• Deep expertise in: NFL—player stats, line movement, injury impact, primetime/public money trends.
• NCAA—handling high-volume markets with limited data, motivation factors, rankings.
• Awareness of regional betting biases (e.g., East Coast volume, Southern college football, public money on major franchises).
• Experience with automated trading platforms, live odds feeds, and sportsbook risk management tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure in live trading environments.
• Strong communication skills in English; Russian is a plus.
