<h3>Overview</h3>
<p>Equans is recruiting a <b>Site Manager</b> to support multiple occupied refurbishment schemes on behalf of a leading Social Housing Association. This is a <b>multi‑site role</b> covering locations in Colchester, Bedford, Reading, Slough, Bournemouth and Dartford. The role involves regular travel between sites. To support this, a company vehicle is provided, and all travel expenses and hotel stays are fully covered. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, vehicle, hotel allowance and full expenses package.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage day‑to‑day delivery of occupied refurbishment and planned works across multiple live housing sites</li>
<li>Supervise subcontractors and trade teams, ensuring safe, high‑quality delivery</li>
<li>Work closely with an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support resident communication and minimise disruption</li>
<li>Attend tenant and resident housing meetings as the on‑site lead</li>
<li>Take ownership of all on‑site logistics, including welfare set‑up, access, deliveries, storage, housekeeping and H&S compliance</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, who manages off‑site logistics, programme, procurement and commercial coordination</li>
<li>Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions</li>
<li>Produce and maintain accurate site documentation such as RAMS, permits, induction records and H&S files</li>
<li>Carry out regular inspections, quality checks and safety audits</li>
<li>Build strong working relationships with residents, client teams and internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Support the RLO team with managing resident feedback and complaints</li>
<li>Ensure all works comply with SHEQ standards, permits, safeguarding and public protection measures</li>

<ul>
<li>Experienced Site Manager with a strong background in occupied refurbishment within social housing</li>
<li>Flexible and willing to travel frequently between multiple sites</li>
<li>Capable of managing several projects and workstreams simultaneously</li>
<li>Confident managing subcontractors and ensuring high standards of quality and safety</li>
<li>Strong communicator, able to lead resident meetings and work closely with RLOs</li>
<li>Highly organised with good planning and problem‑solving skills</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in SHEQ processes, RAMS, permits and public protection requirements</li>
<li>Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full UK driving licence</li>
