Our people and their families matter to us.</p><p>Who You Are:</p><p>We are currently seeking a Day Shift Shop QA/QC in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible).</p><p>Heres What We Offer You:</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Extended health care plan including medical, dental, vision and mental health services</li><li>Group RRSP</li><li>Group Life - AD&D - Critical Illness Insurance</li><li>Paid safety orientations</li><li>Great company culture and environment</li><li>Areas to grow within the organization, opportunities for growth</li><li>Recognition of achievements and contributions<br /></li></ul><p>What Were Looking For From You If This Describes You, Wed Love To Meet!</p><ul><li>Possess CWB Level 1 Certification</li><li>Have 2+ years of previous Quality Control experience</li><li>Have CSTS-09/2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticket</li><li>Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices</li><li>Show a proven commitment to Safety</li><li>Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely</li><li>Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures</li><li>Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel</li><li>Record welders&#39; symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets</li><li>Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests</li><li>Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI&#39;s</li><li>Complete Quality Control paperwork</li><li>Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present</li><li>Have the ability to perform outside/inside work, sometimes in extreme weather conditions</li><li>Meet the physical demands of the position</li><li>Be able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile, and be able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders</li><li>Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asset</li></ul></p></p>
