This is an exciting hybrid opportunity for an experienced MSP professional who can balance deep technical expertise with strong communication and client relationship skills.</p><p>In this role, you’ll serve as the <strong>local onsite technical resource</strong> for a key client in the Kitchener-Waterloo region while providing <strong>remote Tier 3 support</strong> across a diverse portfolio of clients nationwide. You’ll tackle complex issues, lead by example, and mentor junior technicians all while helping clients modernize and secure their IT environments.</p><p>If you thrive in dynamic settings where no two days are the same and take pride in being both a problem solver and a trusted advisor, this could be your ideal next step.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver <strong>Tier 3 technical support</strong> across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and virtualization environments.</li><li>Act as the <strong>primary onsite contact</strong> for a strategic client, fostering strong relationships and trust.</li><li>Provide <strong>guidance and mentorship</strong> to Tier 1 and Tier 2 team members, promoting collaboration and technical growth.</li><li>Administer and troubleshoot <strong>Microsoft 365 tenants</strong> (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, licensing).</li><li>Manage <strong>Intune compliance and security policies</strong> across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.</li><li>Configure and maintain <strong>Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and VMware/Hyper-V</strong> environments.</li><li>Support SQL-based applications and perform light <strong>database administration and troubleshooting</strong>.</li><li>Lead and contribute to <strong>migration, deployment, and upgrade projects</strong>, ensuring seamless delivery and clear communication.</li><li>Maintain thorough documentation of processes and client environments.</li><li>Promote <strong>cybersecurity best practices</strong>, ensuring clients’ systems remain secure and compliant.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5+ years’ experience</strong> in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment providing Level 3 technical support.</li><li>Proven expertise in <strong>Microsoft 365 tenant administration</strong> and <strong>Azure services</strong>.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>Intune</strong>, <strong>Active Directory</strong>, and <strong>Windows Server administration</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)</strong> and <strong>SQL troubleshooting</strong>.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to <strong>work independently</strong> and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Must be based in the <strong>Kitchener-Waterloo region</strong> (within 30 minutes travel).</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert</li><li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate</li><li>Additional Microsoft, VMware, or related certifications</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>cybersecurity frameworks</strong> and secure system design</li><li>Project management experience within an MSP environment</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You’re a <strong>resourceful, people-first IT professional</strong> who balances technical depth with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
