<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Kuva Canada, a subsidiary of Sensirion Connected Solutions, is looking for a Senior Engineer and Architect to help build our next generation scanning cameras and IoT Platform for emission detection, facilities monitoring and operational data analytics.</p><p><br /></p><p>The ideal candidate is a platform designer and developer with significant experience implementing SaaS applications in Azure, Google or AWS. They must be highly proficient developing containerized Node.js microservices and React applications with minimal supervision. Previous use of kubernetes clusters to scale workloads is a must.</p><p><br /></p><p>This role is well suited for an experienced full-stack engineer wanting to take the next step in their career with a senior role in s/w architecture, design and development.</p><p><br /></p><p>Sensirion Connected Solutions with its Kuva product line specializes in camera-based and point sensor IoT-solutions for continuous methane emissions monitoring in the oil and gas industry. If you are ready to solve challenging problems and are interested in becoming a part of the story, apply today!</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering</li><li>10 years developing SaaS, PaaS or IoT solutions in Azure (preferred), Google or AWS</li><li>Highly proficient in cloud native development using nodejs, react and MongoDB</li><li>Expert application of design patterns like Event Sourcing, CQRS and Domain-Driven Design</li><li>Efficiently write feature tests using Cucumber/Gerkin or TestNG</li><li>Experience implementing message-based systems using Kafka or Event Hub</li><li>Experience deploying and scaling Kubernetes clusters using GitOps, Helm and Argo</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver our connected IoT platform through iterative design and development</li><li>Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Business Owners and other Developers to deliver the best user experiences and level-of-service to customers</li><li>Code features and tests as a single unit-of-work so quality is maintained between iterations</li><li>Perform code reviews and help improve quality standards within the team</li><li>Support the cloud infrastructure through IaC and CICD automated service deployments</li><li>Scaling up a groundbreaking 2nd generation product from a few clients to global reach</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Comprehensive benefits package including bonus program, extended health and dental insurance.</p><p></p><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
