Role: Sr. Project/Program Manager – Transmission & Distribution (T&D)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid – Mostly Remote)

Type: Permanent

Salary: $200K–$250K CAD

Start: October 2025

Citizenship: Canadian Citizen Required


The Opportunity

A major engineering company is seeking a Senior Project/Program Manager to serve as the Owner’s Representative for a 10-year, $8 billion program of transmission and distribution projects with a major utility. You’ll oversee large-scale EPC initiatives—transmission lines, substations—and ensure successful delivery from concept to completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-value T&D projects as the Owner’s Representative.
  • Oversee all phases of EPC delivery (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
  • Provide strategic direction to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Navigate complex organizational and regulatory environments.
  • Mentor teams and manage stakeholder relationships.


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of large-scale infrastructure project management.
  • Proven EPC experience in transmission lines and substations.
  • Engineering degree; P.Eng and PMP preferred.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Canadian citizen; based in/relocatable to Toronto area.
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings/site visits 2–3 times per month.
