<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Workday is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our Developer Platform team in Victoria, British Columbia. This role focuses on delivering essential developer tooling, frameworks, documentation, UI services, and more to Workday’s engineering community. You will execute against the product strategy and roadmap to continuously improve the developer experience and enable engineers to meet future innovations that keep Workday competitive.</p><p>You will work with cross-functional teams to address challenging engineering problems, run experiments to determine optimal solutions, and scale and promote those solutions for Workday’s UI. This is a unique opportunity to impact Workday’s user experience for 10,000+ customers.</p><h3>About The Role</h3><p>As a Senior Product Manager on Developer Platform, you will:</p><ul><li>Lead the delivery of innovative and scalable solutions covering the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring on-time, high-quality results in support of Developer Platform’s strategy and roadmap.</li><li>Collaborate with design, engineering, and fellow product managers to build tooling, platforms, and frameworks used to craft Workday UI.</li><li>Identify complex problems through generative research, define comprehensive solutions, and drive the lifecycle from inception through post-launch evaluation and iteration.</li><li>Champion the developer experience by mapping user journeys, writing detailed user stories, and defining clear acceptance criteria.</li><li>Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels, influencing teams and driving consensus.</li><li>Work with software engineers to drive enthusiasm, adoption, and continuous feedback for product initiatives.</li><li>Make data-driven decisions to inform product direction and measure success.</li><li>Articulate the business value of technical solutions for Workday and its engineering community.</li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or equivalent, with a track record of leading initiatives from inception to launch.</li><li>2+ years of experience with solutions that influence the software development lifecycle, covering both frontend and backend systems.</li></ul><h3>Other Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with AI technologies and their application in software development or developer tooling.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis, using data to inform decisions and measure product success.</li><li>Experience conducting research to understand complex problems and develop effective solutions.</li><li>Strong partner management skills and the ability to communicate with diverse teams.</li><li>Proven cross-team collaboration and ability to influence direction within an organization.</li><li>Focus on improving developer experience and representing internal software engineers’ needs.</li><li>Excellent decision-making, communication, and presentation abilities; collaborative and eager to learn.</li></ul><h3>Our Approach to Flexible Work</h3><p>With Flex Work, we combine in-person time and remote work. This role may be eligible for a bonus plan or stock grants. Compensation offers are based on geography, experience, skills, and business needs.
