If you're passionate about<br>AI innovation, real-world impact, and global-scale challenges<br>, we'd love to hear from you.</p><p><br>International candidates are welcome.<br>For outstanding applicants, we offer<br>work permit and immigration support<br>to join our team in Canada.</p><p>The Role</p><p>We're hiring<br>three Senior Machine Learning Engineers<br>to design, train, and deploy advanced AI models that power our next-generation agriculture technologies.</p><p>In this role, you'll<br>lead or co-lead AI development<br>for one or more of SGA's flagship products, including:</p><ul><li>3D Grain Bin Fill Volume Measurement (AI-Bin)</li><li>Fungicide Application & Management (AI-FHB)</li><li>Hail & Wildlife Damage Assessment (AI-Wildlife)</li><li>Crop Yield Forecasting</li><li>Field Boundary Detection & Analysis</li></ul><p>You'll play a key role in<br>turning cutting-edge research into real-world solutions<br>that farmers, insurers, and governments rely on every day.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead the<br> design, development, and deployment<br> of ML models and algorithms.</li><li>Analyze and preprocess large-scale datasets to build robust, efficient training pipelines.</li><li>Implement and optimize<br> computer vision<br> ,<br> deep learning<br> , and<br> geospatial AI<br> models.</li><li>Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deploy models into production.</li><li>Evaluate, benchmark, and refine model performance for<br> accuracy, scalability, and reliability<br> .</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for ML research and deployment.</li><li>Stay at the forefront of<br> AI, ML, computer vision, and geospatial analytics<br> innovation.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's in<br> Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics<br> , or related field (<br> Ph.D. preferred<br> ).</li><li>5+ years of industry experience<br> developing and deploying ML models at scale.</li><li>Proven track record in<br> AI-driven, high-impact projects or products<br> .</li><li>Proficiency in<br> Python<br> and frameworks such as<br> PyTorch<br> ,<br> TensorFlow<br> , or<br> JAX<br> .</li><li>Strong understanding of<br> ML algorithms<br> ,<br> statistics<br> , and<br> large-scale data pipelines<br> .</li><li>Hands-on experience with<br> computer vision, transformers, or spatiotemporal modeling<br> .</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>Publications in top-tier conferences (<br> CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, AAAI<br> ) are a strong asset.</li></ul><p> Compensation & Growth</p><ul><li>Salary range:<br> $90,000 – $180,000 CAD per year, based on experience and seniority.</li><li>As a fast-growing AI startup transforming agriculture, we offer exceptional performers opportunities for<br> career advancement and leadership growth<br> .</li><li>After completing 12+ months of full-time employment, performance and long-term contributions will be evaluated.
