<p><p><b>Job Title:</b> Senior Enterprise Architect</p>
<p><b>Location:</b> Edmonton, AB, Canada, T6H 5T6</p>
<p><b>Work Model:</b> Hybrid – Onsite 3 days a week</p>
<p><b>Shift:</b> 08:15 to 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday</p>
<p><b>Employment Type:</b> Temporary, Full‑Time, 12‑month duration</p>
<p><b>Rate:</b> $100.00 – $115.00 per hour</p>
<p><b>Must Have Skills/Attributes:</b> Application Architecture, Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Risk Analysis, Security, Technology Solutions</p>
<p><b>Experience Desired:</b> 5 years of experience in components listed (application architecture standards, MDM hub registries, amCharts framework, mobile solutions, OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws).</p>
<p><b>Required Minimum Education:</b> Bachelor's Degree</p>

<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>Only qualified Senior Enterprise Architect candidates currently located in the Edmonton, Alberta area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.</p>
<h3>Required Education</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads (8 Years)</li>
<li>Experience in architecting, managing, and maintaining technology platforms (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience identifying and assessing requirements within multiple architecture domains e.g., business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy (8 Years)</li>
<li>Experience in documenting application architectures in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government (7 Years)</li>
<li>Experience in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting platform solutions in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government (7 Years)</li>
<li>Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions (8 Years)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to design and optimize cloud architecture and services (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience in contributing to or developing application architecture standards and guidelines (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise MDM hub architecture registries (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience working as an application architect developing a solution using amCharts charting framework in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience working as an application architect developing mobile solutions in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government (5 Years)</li>
<li>Experience working with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws (5 Years)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Job Duties</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain Enterprise Architecture (EA) Frameworks</li>
<li>Align technology with business strategy</li>
<li>Assess current state architecture and create target state architectures</li>
<li>Guide large‑scale transformation projects</li>
<li>Set standards, principles, and governance</li>
<li>Evaluate and recommend technologies</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders</li>
<li>Model business processes and capabilities</li>
<li>Risk and security management</li>
<li>Support solution architects and engineering teams</li>
<li>Cost optimization and technical debt management</li>
