We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership on complex, safety-critical projects in the energy and infrastructure sector. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who thrives in regulated environments and can drive engineering excellence from concept through to delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners on major design projects
- Oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Drive governance, process improvements, and risk management practices
- Serve as the technical authority for design changes and engineering decisions
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada
- 8+ years of engineering leadership, ideally in nuclear or energy industries
- 5+ years managing projects in cross-functional environments
- Strong track record in engineering governance, compliance, and team leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
