Job Description
This Senior Electrical Engineer role is a permanent position based in Burlington, ON, offering a hybrid schedule with three days onsite. The role focuses on reviewing and checking complex electrical designs, layouts, and panels while collaborating closely with the Mechanical Department and providing mentorship to junior staff. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of electrical safety codes (NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with high workloads and tight timelines.
The role also involves interfacing with customers, supporting large-scale international projects with some travel, and contributing to a collaborative team of eight electrical designers, with opportunities to progress into a supervisory or managerial role in the future.
