The Details is looking for a well-rounded and experienced Senior Designer to join our team. We are:
- A full-service creative agency based in Fredericton, NB.
- Focused on creative communication design — going beyond the surface to bring our client’s marketing needs to life.
- A collaborative, hands-on studio with projects spanning marketing campaigns, brand strategy and identity design, writing, digital design and more.
The Role.
As a Senior Designer, you will:
- Work on a variety of projects in collaboration with the team, and clients.
- Develop comprehensive concepts, execute your ideas, and take them through to completion.
- Work on campaigns, print, branding, packaging, web, and production design.
- Balance design and communication using strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Provide input, share ideas, and bring leadership to the team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, design technology, and best practices.
The Responsibilities.
You’ll be relied upon for:
- Collaborating with creative directors, strategy leads, designers, writers, developers, and clients to create high-quality communication design work.
- Strong technical design skills in both print and digital mediums, with high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac environment).
- Adhering to client brand guidelines while finding new creative solutions.
- Applying strategic design thinking to all projects.
- Managing multiple projects with sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Following project briefs, timelines, and deadlines closely.

You are:
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Resourceful, driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Passionate about design, with curiosity and big ideas.
- A critical thinker with a collaborative mindset.
- Someone who brings positive energy, even on tight deadlines.
The Must-Haves.
- Formal design training (College or University)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (agency experience a strong asset).
- A portfolio with real-world design examples, but be seen with application
- Based in Fredericton, NB (or willing to relocate).
