<p><h3>Overview</h3><p><b>Classification:</b> Grid 27, BCGEU Membership</p>
<p><b>Office Location:</b> Kelowna or Victoria</p>
<p><b>Salary:</b> $83,312.49 – $94,991.51 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.</p>
<p>An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.</p>
<h3>About the Job</h3>
<p>Reporting to the Director, Information Systems (Director), the Senior Business Analyst (Analyst) plays a pivotal role in aligning business strategy with technology solutions to drive organizational effectiveness and regulatory compliance at the BCER. This position serves as a strategic advisor and change leader, providing expert analysis and insight into the business impacts of regulatory shifts and operational improvements.</p>
<p>The Analyst leads the evaluation and interpretation of the BCER's strategic business needs, translating them into actionable system requirements and process enhancements.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assessing the implications of regulatory and operational changes and advising on optimal technology-enabled solutions.</li>
<li>Leading the design and modeling of future-state business processes that support strategic goals, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.</li>
<li>Facilitating the identification, validation, and documentation of business requirements, ensuring they reflect stakeholder needs and support scalable, sustainable system development.</li>
<li>Evaluating the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes and supporting change management efforts to ensure successful adoption across the organization.</li>
<li>This role requires a high degree of business acumen, systems thinking, and leadership influence to guide decision-making and ensure that information systems investments deliver measurable value to the BCER's mission and strategic priorities.</li>
