Position Overview
As a Senior Associate Lawyer at BARTLAW LLP, you will advise individuals and businesses on work permits, work permit exemptions and LMIA options and prepare the relevant applications for portals (Service Canada, IRCC or CBSA).聽You will lead and manage corporate immigration cases from start to finish, advising clients on immigration compliance, preparing complex legal applications, scheduling renewal applications and preparing status reports for the clients. Since prior experience is required for this position, only applicants who have substantial corporate immigration and compliance experience and can advise applicants with confidence will be considered for this position.

As a Senior Associate Lawyer at BARTLAW LLP, your responsibilities will include:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Determine the appropriate course of action for immigration cases and oversee support staff in preparing applications and submission packages.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Minimum of three years of experience as a Canadian immigration lawyer (mainly advising on corporate compliance and preparing work permits for employers)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong understanding of Canadian immigration law and policy.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Proven track record of managing corporate client cases from start to finish.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B or J.D.) and licensed to practice law in Ontario.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Quebec call and experience in Quebec immigration law and fluency in French are strong assets.
