Agropur is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator (vacant position) to join its team in Don Mills.


The Scheduling Coordinator manages time and attendance and plan workforce schedules meanwhile respecting the collective bargaining agreement. He will also maintain records, oversee training and participate in the implementation of department projects.

  • Salary Scale 003: $67,600 - $84,500 (Base salary will be determined based on academic background, experience, training, and skills relevant to the position).



What’s involved in this role:



  • Ownership of time and attendance management for department.


  • Carry out weekly planning of the workforce in the plant in compliance with the collective agreement.


  • Make schedules for unionized employees.


  • Display planned overtime needs and grant time slots in compliance with the collective agreement.


  • Process and authorize employee vacation and absence requests by performing a prior analysis.


  • Maintaining employee records for orientation, training and probationary reviews.


  • Manage records; vacation usage, sick time and other absences.


  • Perform various validations in the time management system.


  • Ensure visibility of projected workforce needs by sector of activity.


  • Define hiring needs for unionized workers.


  • Plan internal training for unionized employees and monitor it.


  • Participate in the integration of new employees.


  • Maintain the department's performance indicators.


  • Participate in and supervise the implementation of department projects.


  • Ownership of weekly consumables inventory count.


  • Perform all other production related tasks.



What you need to join our team:



  • College diploma, University Degree or High School Diploma.


  • 3-5 years of experience in a field related to the job.


  • 3-5 years’ experience with scheduling / understanding plant environments with direct involvement in a unionized production facility and CBA agreements.


  • Manufacturing industry experience.


  • Experience with Kronos and UKG (asset).


  • Proficient in excel and other Microsoft programs.
