<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Description:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Cluster Applications Branch (CAB) provides leadership in the planning, development, delivery and support of application solutions through services such as consulting and collaboration with clients and their business planning. The branch provides expertise to ensure the IT solutions align with program goals and commitments. CAB provides these services for the Ministry of Finance and some areas of Treasury Board Secretariat.<br /></li><li>Within CAB, the Imaging, Processes & Analytics unit has several mandates, including delivering a high-volume, complex, integrated payment processing, document imaging and data capture IT service; delivering products, solutions and services in the development, maintenance and support of a portfolio of applications and related systems which provide business intelligence and data analytics; providing strategic direction in the development of new analytic services and program maturity.<br /></li><li>The core mandate of this unit is to support imageON application and its operations, as well as its infrastructure support for processing Ontario Government revenues. ImageOn processes $120B revenue annually - through incoming payments and documents for 126 programs across 17 ministries.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives ensuring efficiency.<br /></li><li>Verify System monitoring and operability – system health, fax server availability, inbound/outbound file transfer, FileNet communication.<br /></li><li>Collaborate with vendors, clients and partners.<br /></li><li>Write scripts<br /></li><li>Create, manage, follow up on support tickets.<br /></li><li>Investigate production issues, escalate to proper parties when necessary<br /></li><li>Verify systems and applications are running as expected<br /></li><li>Confirm file transfer scripts are enabled/disabled when required<br /></li><li>Confirm inbound files are loaded successfully into the application<br /></li><li>Verify production and test backup jobs are completed successfully<br /></li><li>Verify mainframe files are transferred<br /></li><li>Verify FileNet image transfer<br /></li><li>Verify ImageON File extracts and transmissions are completed<br /></li><li>Verify MFT transfer service is completed<br /></li><li>Verify MoveIT transfer service is completed<br /></li><li>Verify Connect Direct (NFS) transfer service is completed<br /></li><li>Confirm imageON EOD processes are completed successfully<br /></li><li>Manage building access<br /></li><li>Manage application/system user access<br /></li><li>Verify hardware, lighting, HVAC are in good working condition<br /></li><li><span >Coordinate/validate</span> monthly generator testing and impact to ImageON<br /></li><li>Monitor ImageON <span >server/workstation/tape/SAN/printer</span> infrastructure<br /></li><li>Coordinate/verify vendor support or release implementation<br /></li><li>Provide validation and Tier 2 support on monthly patching activities<br /></li><li>Provide Tier 2 support for anti-virus updates<br /></li><li>Perform server start-up/shutdown<br /></li><li>Provide analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and identify clients&#39;
