Job Description

Role Mission

 

The Remote Freelance Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all consumer patient health education programs, medical education initiatives, digital and social content campaigns, lead generation activities, and business development projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards. This role serves as the operational backbone of cross-functional initiatives, driving timelines, accountability, and execution excellence. This is a remote role that requires working the hours of approximately 9-5pm Eastern time, Mondays-Fridays.

1. On-Time Delivery

  • 95%+ of projects delivered by agreed deadlines.
  • Zero missed critical launch dates for patient education or medical content campaigns.

 

2. Operational Excellence

  • Implement and maintain standardized project workflows in ActiveCollab.
  • Achieve full visibility of project status, risks, and dependencies across teams.

 

3. CRM & Campaign Execution

  • Successfully manage HubSpot CRM campaigns for lead generation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure accurate campaign tracking, reporting, and data integrity.

     

4. Content & Media Production

  • Oversee production timelines for video, digital, and social content.
  • Coordinate vendors, creative teams, and medical reviewers efficiently.

 

5. Business Development Support

  • Manage proposal timelines, pitch materials, and new program rollouts.
  • Improve response speed and win-rate for new business opportunities.

 

6. Stakeholder Satisfaction

  • Achieve high internal team and external partner satisfaction scores.
  • Proactively identify and solve execution bottlenecks.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build, manage, and maintain project plans, schedules, and workflows in Project management programs, including but not limited to ActiveCollab.
  • Experience managing HubSpot CRM lead generation marketing campaigns directed to consumer/patient and healthcare professional audiences, automation workflows, and reporting dashboards.
  • Drive cross-functional project meetings, status updates, and accountability.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate production of patient education, medical education, digital, and video content.
  • Experience with common AI content generation tools.
  • Oversee vendor and agency partners to ensure deliverables meet specifications.
  • Develop standardized templates, SOPs, and best practices for project execution.
  • Support business development by managing timelines for proposals and client deliverables.
  • Provide leadership with real-time visibility into project progress and performance.

Experience and Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years project management experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical education, healthcare professional (HCP)/ Patient/Community marketing, and/or digital content environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with:

- ActiveCollab, Microsoft 360 or similar PM platforms

- HubSpot CRM and campaign management

- Video and digital content production workflows

  • Experience managing external vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
