We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care for animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory skills and a passion for animal welfare, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and overall health status.
Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia administration and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program.
Certification or licensure as a veterinary technician is preferred.
Strong laboratory skills with experience in performing diagnostic tests.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for animals.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
