The QMS Manager will lead and manage the companys Quality Management Office to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services, compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and continuous improvement across all business processes. This role involves strategic planning, hands-on leadership, and close collaboration with production, engineering, procurement, and customer service teams to build and maintain a culture of quality excellence.</p><p><br /></p><p>Primary Responsibilities:<br /></p><ul><li>Champion quality excellence across civil, municipal, maintenance, and logistics projects.</li><li>Lead audits, inspections, and field reviews to ensure the job is done right the first time.</li><li>Build and maintain a best-in-class Quality Management System.</li><li>Define quality goals, policies, and strategies aligned with company objectives.</li><li>Coach and empower teams to take pride in their workmanship and documentation.</li><li>Oversee company-wide document control systems - ensuring every document tells the same story of excellence.</li><li>Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on defect reduction, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across the organization.</li><li>Collaborate with project leaders to align operations with company and client standards.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Education and Experience:</p><ul><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.<br /></li><li>8+ years in Quality Management within the construction or oil & gas industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of civil construction, municipal, maintenance operations, and site logistics.</li><li>Hands-on experience leading quality audits, field inspections, and root cause investigations.</li><li>Proficiency in document management platforms (Procore, CMS, SharePoint, Aconex, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with quality management frameworks.</li><li>Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.</li><li>Certification in Quality Management or ISO auditing (CQE, CQA, Lead Auditor) is an asset.</li><li>Strategic and analytical thinker with operational execution capability.</li><li>Valid Class 5 drivers license</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Application Instructions:</p><p>APPLICATION DEADLINE: Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.</p><p></p><p>Please apply online: Via: bouchier.ca</p><p></p><p>Please follow us on Facebook at <span >https://m.facebook.com/BouchierGroup/</span></p><p><br /></p><p>The Bouchier Group would like to thank all applicants who apply to our postings.
