<p><strong>Our client, Mother Parkers, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join their Quality team at the Mississauga Plant.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Manager will lead the plant's quality management system, ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a high-risk aseptic manufacturing environment. This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving a culture of quality and food safety across all operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and develop a team of 4 QA professionals including supervisors, coordinators, and shift technicians.</li><li>Oversee all quality and food safety programs including HACCP, GMPs, Traceability, Pest Control, and Sanitation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with SQF standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Manage batch release, non-conformances, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.</li><li>Coordinate product trials, audits, and customer quality assurance visits.</li><li>Act as Site Recall Coordinator and lead investigations into product holds and complaints.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality systems and food safety.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5-7 years of experience in aseptic food or beverage manufacturing.</li><li>BSc in Sciences or Industrial Engineering.</li><li>HACCP certification and experience maintaining HACCP-based systems.</li><li>Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role.</li><li>Strong understanding of GFSI certification programs and SPC tools.</li><li>Excellent decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Experience with lab analytical equipment and microbiological testing is an asset.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude related to coffee processing equipment is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to make a strategic impact in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p>Create Your Resume First
