Salary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering construction activities within the
Priority Projects portfolio, with a specific focus onglycol storage and handling infrastructure. This role manages all aspects of project execution, including safety, environmental compliance, schedule, cost, quality, and commissioning, within a live airport environment and under strict regulatory and operational constraints.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, manage, and deliver construction activities related toglycol storage tank systemsfrom early works through commissioning and close-out
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction activities across mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and controls scopes
  • Managedemolition and rehabilitation of under-groundconcretestorage tanks, foundations, secondary containment systems, piping networks, pumps, valves, heat tracing, and instrumentation
  • Ensure compliance with GTAA standards, environmental regulations, spill prevention, and containment requirements
  • Oversee contractor performance, construction sequencing, site logistics, and access controls within an active airport environment
  • Lead project schedule development, cost control, forecasting, and change management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to environmental exposure, operational interfaces, safety, and constructability
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, andcommissioning of glycol storage and distribution systems
  • Ensure completion and turnover of all project documentation, as-built records, and handover packages
  • Prepare and present project updates, forecasts, and issue escalation in accordance with PACT governance requirements



WORK CONDITIONS

The position will be based at our offices in Mississauga, Ontario, with regular visits to the site offices as required. This position is 5 days per week with core hours of work between approximately 8:00am5:00pm with 1 hour Lunch or as agreed upon with your manager. All employees must complete a RAIC and Criminal background check.



DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding ofglycol, de-icing fluid, fuel, or chemical storage systems
  • Knowledge of tank systems including secondary containment, leak detection, overfill protection, venting, and spill mitigation
  • Experience coordinating mechanical piping systems, including pumps, valves, insulation, heat tracing, and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of environmental compliance, spill response planning, and regulatory approval processes
  • Ability to manage civil and structural works related to tank foundations, concrete pads, containment berms, and underground services
  • Proven ability to deliver projects inlive, highly regulated operational environments
  • Strong leadership, contractor coordination, scheduling, and cost control skills



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum8 years of progressive project management experiencein infrastructure, industrial, environmental, or utility construction
  • Direct experience delivering liquid storage tank projects(glycol, fuel, chemical, or similar systems) is required
  • Familiarity with commissioning, environmental permitting, and operational handover processes
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, and risk management
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset
