<p>Junior Project Manager<br>Location: Travel within the NCR<br><br>Salary – $60,000 - $70,000 - based on experience<br><br>Benefits – Health/Dental/RRSP<br><br>Hours – Monday – Friday – 8-4:30 - On-site<br><br>Vacation – 2 weeks<br><br><br><br>About the Company:<br>A well-established construction firm serving government, commercial, and industrial markets is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team. Known for tackling complex builds with innovative solutions, the company uses in-house trades to deliver a wide range of specialized services. Projects include high-security environments, community centres, bridge replacements, pumping stations, and office fit-ups—both locally and internationally.<br><br>Position Summary:<br>The Junior Project Manager will assist in coordinating and managing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Working under the guidance of senior project staff, this role is ideal for someone eager to grow within a dynamic and solution-oriented team environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Support the planning, execution, and tracking of construction projects.<br>Assist with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.<br>Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal trades to ensure project milestones are met.<br>Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.<br>Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.<br>Identify and help resolve issues or delays in a proactive manner.<br>Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.<br>Qualifications:<br><br>Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.<br>2+ years of experience in a construction or project coordination role is an asset.<br>Strong organizational and time-management skills.<br>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.<br>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an advantage.<br>Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.<br>What’s Offered:<br><br>Exposure to challenging and diverse construction projects.<br>Supportive team environment with opportunities for learning and mentorship.<br>Competitive salary and benefits.<br>Career development and growth potential.</p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
