Opportunity: One of our Steel Manufacturing Industry clients based out in Orillia, ON is looking for a “Production Supervisor” for a full-time opportunity
Job Details:
Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Orillia, ON
Position type: Full-time, Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute weekly and monthly production plans across all manufacturing departments.
- Proactively expedite orders to meet ship dates and ensure on-time delivery for our customers.
- Analyze production data, identify potential delays or quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the accuracy of data within our manufacturing and ERP systems to maintain clear production visibility.
- Collaborate with the Planning Manager and other departments to optimize material flow and improve overall planning processes.
- Represent the Production department in cross-functional meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Planning or similar capacity within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role is essential.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and process improvement methodologies is a significant asset.
- Superior organizational skills with a proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
- Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrication is an asset.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
