Title of position: Child Caregiver Number of positions: 1 position Salary: $19.00/hr. (30-40 hrs./week) Job requirements: Language requirement: English. (Punjabi language is an asset) Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation or certificate of a training program is required. Experience requirement: Relevant experience for 7 months to 1 year. Work Site Environment: Non-Smoking. Work location information: Work in employers/clients home. Personal Suitability: Punctuality, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability Job duties: Supervise and care for children Oversee child's daily routine, such as feeds and nap periods, as instructed Maintain personal hygiene of infant including bathing, changing diapers Perform the activities for physical and social development of child including reading, singing, play, etc. Plan, prepare and serve meals for family Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts and outings Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Combination of sitting, standing and walking.
