You are responsible for everything from delivering food and beverages, and bussing tables, to general maintenance tasks. This job does it all and because of that, it is never the same and always fun!! You will gain a lot of knowledge and experience in many aspects of a business and is a very diverse job, giving support where it&#39;s needed. <br /></p><p>This job is perfect for you if you have a strong work ethic, you take pride in the contribution you bring to the team, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, like to work independently but also interact with customers, and have a good attitude towards a variety of tasks. We take pride in our Jack and Stella brand and experience for the customers as well as workers; we look forward to a great winter!!</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><p><em>Quality Control </em></p><ul><li>Working effectively with the kitchen team and complying with company procedures and food handling/ safety policies.</li><li>Running drinks and food to the proper guests and making sure communication is kept ensuring efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy back patio.</li><li>Assist with other daily tasks – take initiative to help where needed during downtime.</li></ul><p><em>Customer Service </em></p><ul><li>Greet all customers that arrive at Jack & Stella.</li><li>Be quick on your feet, with a polite and friendly attitude.</li><li>Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Take pride in being an integral part of the Jack & Stella experience.</li><li>Clean/ bus and reset tables for future customers.</li><li>Have thorough knowledge of our menu items, as well as Jack & Stella events!</li></ul><p><em>Opening/Closing </em></p><ul><li>Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, especially during close/ open.</li><li>Removing trash and clearing storage bins.</li><li>Perform opening and closing duties as outlined.</li></ul><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.</li><li>Must be able to adhere to all Jack & Stella operating policies and programs.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as a team.</li><li>Stand or walk for extended periods of time and lift or move objects up to 25lbs.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Food Handling certification is an asset.<br /></li><li>Previous restaurant or coffee shop experience considered an asset.</li><li>Previous maintenance experience considered an asset.</li><li>Must possess excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to do physical labor for extended periods.</li><li>Flexible and willing to perform many different tasks.</li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><p>Days: 1-2 days per week** </p><p>Hours: Up to 25 hours maximum </p><p>Shifts: vary within our opening hours of 10am-3pm </p><br /><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>$17.20/hour + a percentage of tips based on overall daily sales from each shift.</p><br /><p></p><p><strong>Contract:</strong></p><p>Winter seasonal.</p><br><br></p></p>
