If you embody accountability, forward-thinking execution, and relentless pursuit of high standards, this is the role for you.</p><p>About the Role<br />In this pivotal, year-round leadership position, you will own the performance and growth of logistics operations, while leading snow and ice management in winter, and scaling our logistics and sweeper divisions through system-driven processes in year round. Your impact will be immediate and measurable, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across multiple crews and locations.</p><p>What Were Looking For</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership success in snow and ice operations, heavy equipment logistics, or related field operations.</li><li>Deep knowledge of Ontario transportation regulations, CVOR standards, and industry safety best practices.</li><li>Strong communication skills across all channelsverbal, written, and digital messagingto lead teams and liaise with clients effectively.</li><li>Tech-savvy mindset comfortable leveraging fleet tracking, scheduling software, and Microsoft 365 tools to manage complex logistics.</li><li>Ability to make clear, timely decisions under pressure with calm and authority.</li><li>Valid A Class License.</li><li>Proven track record of building and sustaining high-performing teams via mentorship, structured processes, and accountability.</li><li>Passionate about developing scalable operational systems and continuously improving workflows.</li><li>Experience with winter operations logistics a strong asset.</li></ul><p>Core Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead daily operations logistics, and snow divisions, ensuring seamless coordination and top-tier service delivery.</li><li>Manage and coach direct reports to meet scheduling, routing, quality, and safety goals.</li><li>Drive seasonal recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training aligned with company standards.</li><li>Oversee equipment readiness, partnering with fleet management to maintain service reliability.</li><li>Champion health & safety protocols on all job sites and yards.</li><li>Track key performance indicators including job completion, quality, crew productivity, and attendance to inform operational decisions.</li><li>Utilize company software and real-time data to monitor labour, job progress, and asset utilization.</li></ul><p>Snow & Ice Management (Winter Operations)</p><ul><li>Own all aspects of snow event logistics, team readiness, operator deployment, and active event oversight along side management team.</li><li>Monitor weather actively to drive proactive operational responses including salting, plowing, and snow removal.</li><li>Maintain equipment, fueling, and safety checks before events.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to uphold performance standards.</li><li>Ensure instant incident reporting, transparent communication, and compliance documentation throughout storms.</li><li>Facilitate clear, real-time communication between teams, clients, and leadership during critical events.</li></ul><p>Leadership & Culture</p><ul><li>Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, collaboration, and continuous learning.</li><li>Provide coaching, mentorship, and corrective guidance to develop team potential fully.</li><li>Lead performance evaluations and support growth plans for individuals and teams.</li><li>Inspire accountability and excellence across all operational levels.</li></ul><p>Client Engagement & Quality Assurance</p><ul><li>Conduct regular site audits and quality checks to exceed contractual expectations.</li><li>Address client concerns swiftly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and retention.</li><li>Participate in client walkthroughs, inspections, and seasonal operational planning.</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>A leadership platform to shape and grow a critical division within an industry-leading company.</li><li>Competitive compensation paired with vacation benefits.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits package including a Health Spending Account.</li><li>Deferred Profit-Sharing Program to build your financial future alongside company success.</li><li>Uniform and boot allowances plus enrichments supporting your daily responsibilities.</li><li>Access to cutting-edge systems, a supportive leadership team, and mentorship opportunities.</li><li>Clear pathways for career progression fueled by our expansion vision.</li></ul><p>This is a full-time role designed for a proactive, systems-oriented operations leader ready to make a tangible difference in a company that values your expertise and drive.</p></p></p>
