MSP Technical Lead

<p>Overview: </p><p>We are seeking a senior MSP professional with deep technical expertise in hardware and Windows Server environments to lead our technical team. This role combines hands-on technical work, strategic planning, and leadership, ensuring reliable client service while supporting the growth of our service divisions. </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor technicians, manage escalations, and balance workloads.</li><li>Hardware & Server Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers (Windows Server 2019/2022, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, AWS).</li><li>Infrastructure Planning: Design and implement IT roadmaps, capacity planning, and upgrades for client environments.</li><li>Operations Management: Oversee MSP operations, including ticketing, SLAs, monitoring, and RMM/PSA tools.</li><li>Project Delivery: Lead client projects such as migrations, server upgrades, cloud adoption, and disaster recovery planning.</li><li>Growth & Service Expansion: Collaborate with leadership to grow services in areas like cloud hosting, cybersecurity, and compliance.</li><li>Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor, building relationships and identifying opportunities for improvement or expansion.</li><li>Strategic Input: Provide recommendations on technologies, service offerings, and processes to support long-term growth.</li></ul><p>Skills & Experience:</p><ul><li>7-10 years in IT with strong expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO).</li><li>Hands-on experience with physical hardware (Dell/HP/Lenovo servers, RAID, storage solutions).</li><li>Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) and cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, AWS).</li><li>Strong project planning, documentation, and client communication skills.</li><li>Experience leading MSP teams and managing technical delivery.</li></ul><p>Nice to Have:</p><ul><li>Experience in infrastructure architecture and scaling MSP service offerings.</li></ul><p>Why Join Us:</p><ul><li>Opportunity to shape technical operations and grow services.</li><li>Work with a collaborative team in a company focused on client success and innovation.</li><li>Great work-life balance.</li></ul>
