Exciting new Full-time permanent (4FTE minimum), possible part-time opportunities available in Kingston, Ontario for MRI professionals eager to join the Kingston MRI Team ; <br /> Kingston MRI is an Integrated Community Health Services Centre funded by the Ministry of health located at both 776 Blackburn Mews (Kingston West) and 836 John Marks Avenue (Kingston East). We are seeking one Technologist to start now and 3 to 4 in January/February 2026. Relocation assistance may be provided. <br /> Shifts will include rotational days, evenings and weekends <br /> (Current hours are M-F 7am to 8pm; <br /> rotational Sat 7am to 2pm). <br /> Highly competitive salary, pension, benefits, annual continuing education allowance, high vacation, flex day. <br /> New graduates and/or grads awaiting exam results are welcome to apply. <br /> REQUIREMENTS: <br /> Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Manager and the Charge Technologist, the MRI Technologist will assist and participate in the day-to-day operation of the MRI suites, including: <br /> completing and documenting MRI scans<br /> ensuring compliance with all applicable Statutes, Regulations, Accreditation Canada standards, and particularly Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care guidelines pertaining to the provision of MRI scans to Ontario patients<br /> participating in training and Quality Control programs<br /> ensuring current certification with all qualifications and CME requirements<br /> ensuring Kingston MRI policies, procedures and MRI safety guidelines are implemented<br /> assisting in maintaining all necessary facility supplies, this includes stocking supplies and other essential items<br /> documenting Quality Control procedures<br /> cleaning scan room and coils<br /> The qualifications of the MRI Technologist include: <br /> Current and valid certificate of registration with the College of Medical Radiation and<br />Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)<br /> Certification in MRI from a recognized and certified Canadian institution<br /> Certificate in First aid and BCLS with recertification every two years<br /> Injection certificate from Contrast Injection for Technologists course<br /> The MRI Technologist is to remain current with changing technical trends in MRI by attending conferences, meetings, or other CME, and reading current relevant literature. Documentation of CME is maintained. Annual CME funding available.<br /> Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills<br /> PACS and RIS experience<br /> Able to function effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team<br /> Demonstrated pattern of good attendance<br /> Questions?: Curious about applying but want to ask a few questions first?
